June 18th 8:15 A.M.-9:45 A.M.
On June 18th, the sixth-grade will be having the annual Rube Goldberg project. This project is centered around problem solving and team building. Working in small groups, students will design and build a complex machine which performs a simple everyday task. The Rube Goldberg project will give students the opportunity to integrate what they have learned in science, mathematics and technology classes.
We invite you to come to the Middle School to observe these marvelous inventions. Students will be displaying their machines from 8:15a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Please do not arrive before 8:15, because it will take us time to set up. Please note that the convention will be taking place in the 6th-grade classrooms on the odd side of the building. Our students are very proud of their hard work and look forward to presenting their creations to you.
